- Strengthen procurement as a trusted advisor, not just a control function
- Own sourcing cases end-to-end—from strategy design to supplier selection and contract negotiation
- Shape category strategies by segmenting spend, assessing risks, and aligning to business priorities
- Drive Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and specialised procurement processes with clear evaluation frameworks
- Lead commercial evaluations, build pricing models, and recommend decisions to senior stakeholders
- Manage Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) flows to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely approvals
- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing methods, evaluation criteria, and decision frameworks
- Decide between global vendors for a critical technology platform using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and risk-based scoring
- Lead a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) that balances cost, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and long-term scalability
- Challenge stakeholder requirements to refine sourcing strategy and avoid over-specification
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms that deliver measurable savings without compromising outcomes
- Redesign evaluation criteria to ensure fair, transparent, and faster procurement decisions
- Step in to resolve stalled sourcing cases by aligning stakeholders and clarifying decision trade-offs
- Proven ability to own full sourcing lifecycle, including Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiations, and supplier selection
- Strong commercial judgment with experience in spend analysis, market benchmarking, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Deep understanding of procurement governance, controls, and compliance expectations
- Confidence influencing stakeholders across business and technology functions
- Familiarity with structured sourcing frameworks, supplier management, and contract lifecycle practices
- Exposure to digital procurement tools, analytics, or emerging practices (e.g., Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled sourcing)
