Job Description

Responsibilities

Sourcing & Supplier Management.

• Lead end-to-end supplier sourcing, qualification, and onboarding to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking to secure competitive pricing and optimal trade terms.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive collaboration and support business continuity.

• Establish a supplier performance evaluation framework tracking on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness.

• Oversee all purchase requisitions and sample requests, ensuring timely processing and approval compliance.



Contract Management & Compliance

• Manage the full lifecycle of supplier contracts from drafting and negotiation through to renewal

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and Singapore regulatory requirements

• Monitor contract performance and proactively manage renewals and escalations to prevent disruption

• Resolve quality claims, disputes, and non-conformance issues with suppliers promptly and professionally

• Maintain accurate procurement records, POs, and contracts in line with audit requirements


Cost Control & Budget Management.

• Conduct cost analysis and price benchmarking to identify savings and control procurement spend

• Lead price and trade term negotiations to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising quality

• Collaborate with Finance on annual budgeting, expenditure tracking, and variance reporting

• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and purchase consolidation

• Evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO) including logistics, payment terms, lead times, and risk


Inventory & Demand Planning

• Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts

• Collaborate with operations and F&B teams to forecast procurement needs based on demand and seasonal trends

• Implement reorder point systems and replenishment strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply

• Monitor and manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory to minimise wastage and holding costs


Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing

• Integrate ESG principles into procurement strategy by prioritising responsible suppliers

• Enforce ethical sourcing standards covering fair labour, anti-bribery, and regulatory compliance

• Promote sourcing of environmentally certified or sustainably packaged products aligned with Changi’s green goals

• Conduct periodic supplier sustainability audits and report on supply chain sustainability performance

• Any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Finance or senior management


Job Requirements


• Degree or Diploma in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in F&B/ Hotel industry

• Self-motivated, independent, proactive and able to deliver quality results under tight schedules

• Good problem solving, communication, leadership & negotiation skills

• Good command of both spoken and written English
