Position: Retail Store Manager

As part of its continued expansion in Malaysia, the company is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead sales operations, drive commercial performance, and develop a high-performing retail team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall showroom sales performance and daily retail operations.
• Drive revenue growth through effective sales execution, customer engagement, and team leadership.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop retail sales professionals.
• Monitor and improve key business metrics including sales conversion, customer engagement, pipeline generation, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish performance expectations and accountability across the team.
• Analyze sales trends, KPIs, and operational data to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead store planning, promotional activities, networking events, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Ensure operational excellence across staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer experience standards.
• Manage store expenses and resource allocation effectively.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture.
• Partner with regional leadership to execute strategic business objectives.
• Continuously identify workflow improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Act as a role model for professionalism, leadership, and customer-centric behavior.
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience in retail sales, business development, key account management, or customer-facing commercial environments.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience leading sales or retail teams.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong experience managing KPIs, sales performance metrics, and operational reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong business development and commercial negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to data and performance metrics.
• Experience managing retail operations, customer experience, and sales processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Self-motivated, highly accountable, and results-driven.
• Comfortable adapting to a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems and retail operational tools.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage but not mandatory.
