Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Playschool Teacher role based in Damansara. The Playschool Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support children’s early development. Responsibilities include creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment, supervising children during play and learning, and guiding social and emotional skills through positive interactions. The teacher will communicate regularly with parents and guardians, provide feedback on each child’s progress, and collaborate with colleagues on school events and curriculum improvements. Additional duties may include preparing learning materials, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and participating in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Ability to design and implement age-appropriate Lesson Planning and Teaching activities that support early childhood development.
  • Background or formal training in Education or related fields, with a strong understanding of early childhood learning principles.
  • Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and supportive manner.
  • Experience in Training or mentoring young learners, including guiding behavior, building routines, and encouraging positive social skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, follow school policies, and maintain a safe and organized classroom.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related area is preferred.
  • Basic first aid knowledge and fluency in spoken and written English are advantageous.
