About the Role

The Quality Assurance Executive is responsible for monitoring product quality, conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Quality Assurance

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished goods
• Verify that products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards
• Perform quality checks on dimensions, thickness, appearance, sealing quality, and other product characteristics
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products

Production Quality Monitoring

• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Perform routine shop floor inspections and audits
• Work closely with production personnel to address quality concerns
• Escalate recurring issues and assist in implementing corrective actions

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
• Prepare quality reports and summaries for management review
• Assist in tracking defects, customer complaints, and quality trends
• Support the maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in investigations relating to product defects and process deviations
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
• Support initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and production losses
• Contribute ideas for improving manufacturing quality and operational efficiency

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and maintain high standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and general computer applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Science, or a related field
• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or production environments
• Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management systems is an advantage
• Experience within plastics manufacturing is beneficial but not required
