ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or other equivalent fields.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION/OTHER RELEVANT CERTIFICATION

• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

WORKING EXPERIENCES

• Fresh graduate or less than 1 year of working experience in water related work, or related fields.

KEY/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Detail-oriented with good understanding of project management methodologies and engineering design principles.
• Ability to articulate and present ideas well and thoroughly.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and relevant design software.

Engineer (WEG) is responsible for supporting design and build of water related works. Ultimately, you will be executing and supervising the implementation of water related works at site to ensure the adherence to the standards and required specifications.

• Perform engineering design, drawing review, calculation, testing and validation to support assigned tasks.
• Assist senior team members with the related analyses, designs and computations.
• Assist with the preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentations under close supervision along with applying a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems to complete the tasks.
• Accountable for submitting a high quality of work accurately including of routine letters, reports, standard documentation, presentations, etc.
• Accountable for providing all information in an organized manner within the agreed timeframe.
• Ensure project comply with the standard safety, health and environmental guidelines as established by the authority.
• Ensure the designs are in compliance with the standard code of practice.
• Fill up and maintain all the project related ISO documents as per Design SOP.
• Review the produced designed drawings.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.
