Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of search marketing professionals.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and establish development goals.
* Manage onboarding and training initiatives for new team members.
* Ensure team and individual performance targets are achieved.
Search Strategy & Optimization
* Develop and execute organic search strategies to improve online visibility and traffic.
* Stay informed of industry developments, search engine updates, and emerging trends.
* Conduct website reviews and identify opportunities to enhance search performance.
* Oversee link-building and authority-building initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
* Optimize digital content for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search experiences.
* Create content strategies that strengthen online presence and increase discoverability across search platforms.
* Monitor search performance, visibility metrics, and emerging optimization opportunities.
* Evaluate and adapt strategies based on evolving technologies and user search behavior.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Support business development activities, including presentations and proposal discussions.
* Participate in client meetings to communicate search marketing strategies and results.
* Collaborate with internal teams to understand business objectives and align digital strategies accordingly.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable insights.
* Track campaign progress, identify challenges, and recommend improvements.
* Maintain quality standards and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Process & Operational Improvement
* Enhance workflows and operational processes to improve efficiency.
* Explore opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and digital tools.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in organic search marketing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page optimization practices.
* Familiarity with AI-driven search experiences and emerging search technologies.
* Experience managing multiple projects or client accounts simultaneously.
* Proficiency with web analytics, search performance, and SEO management tools.
* Strong communication, reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
