UST Hiring! Full Time Emulation Engineer in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Develop and code emulation trackers with proper documentation.
• Extract DV interfaces and translate them into emulation interfaces.
• Execute emulation-based functional verification including test plan definition and test content development.
• Run emulation tests, collect coverage data, and debug failures.
• Perform failure analysis and waveform debugging.
• Build and maintain automation scripts for build and debug processes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in emulation and functional verification.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and TCL.
• Hands-on experience with Palladium and Zebu emulation platforms.
• Basic understanding of System Verilog and Verilog for RTL development and emulation prototype compilation.
• Basic understanding with AXI protocol; PCIE knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with emulation model compilation, wave dump & triggers, and waveform debug.
• Exposure to Design Verification and C/C++ verification environments.

Preferred Skills/Tools

• Experience with scripting languages like Python, TCL, and optionally Perl.
• Knowledge of PCIE, Ethernet, DDR, and AXI protocols.
• Familiarity with System Verilog, knowledge in UVM is an added bonus.
