Mech Flo Technologies was established in year 2015. We are a premier in the Consultancy, Design & Build, Maintenance & Fit-Out water and air-cooled air-conditioning plants, general and performance based mechanical ventilation systems, fire protection systems.

Job Summary

Lead cost estimation and tender management for M&E fire protection and A&A projects, driving competitive pricing strategies and ensuring accurate project cost control to support business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed cost estimation and quantification for fire protection M&E and A&A projects to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns, and tender pricing schedules to support competitive tender submissions
  • Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to identify cost-effective options and maintain quality standards
  • Conduct cost comparison analysis and recommend competitive pricing strategies to enhance bid success rates
  • Participate actively in tender submissions, including managing commercial clarifications and negotiations to secure favorable contract terms
  • Prepare tender summary reports for management approval to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Develop cost benchmarks and maintain pricing databases to improve future project estimations and pricing accuracy
  • Prepare and review M&E fire protection tender documents, including BOQs and specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Conduct site measurements and surveys to verify project scope and support accurate cost assessments
  • Analyze and evaluate tender submissions to identify risks and opportunities for cost optimization
  • Prepare and issue variation orders and interim payment certificates to manage project financial changes and cash flow
  • Monitor project costs continuously and provide cost advice to project teams to maintain budget control
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors on M&E fire protection matters to ensure alignment and project success

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Registered with RQS or equivalent professional body
  • Knowledge of SS CP 52 and relevant standards for fire protection systems

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in M&E fire protection projects
