Scope of job:
1. Project Management & Execution
- Lead and manage assigned marine electrical / hybrid vessel projects from concept to
delivery.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with shipyards, shipowners, equipment suppliers, and classification societies.
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contractual, technical, and regulatory
requirements.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project cost, variation orders, and budget control.
2. Engineering & Technical Oversight
- Review and coordinate engineering deliverables including:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Load analysis and short-circuit calculations
- Protection coordination studies
- GA drawings and system layouts
- I/O lists and interface documents
- Oversee integration of:
- DC/AC switchboards
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- PMS / AMS / PLC systems
- VFDs and propulsion interfaces
- Ensure compliance with Class requirements (DNV, BV, RINA, CCS, etc.).
- Provide technical clarification and resolve engineering issues during design and construction phases.
3. Supplier & Technical Coordination
- Act as the main technical liaison between SEAPEX and key partners (e.g. battery suppliers, switchboard manufacturers, system integrators).
- Review vendor documents and ensure timely submission to shipyard and Class.
- Coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), HAT, and commissioning activities.
- Support troubleshooting during installation and sea trials.
4. Commercial & Contract Support
- Support technical input for tendering and quotation preparation.
- Review technical specifications and identify cost-impacting items.
- Assist in negotiation of technical deviations and change orders.
- Monitor payment milestones linked to technical deliverables.
5. Site Supervision & Delivery
- Attend shipyard meetings when required.
- Supervise installation and commissioning works.
- Coordinate mooring trials and sea trials.
- Ensure final documentation package is complete prior to vessel delivery.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain structured documentation control.
- Provide periodic project progress reports to Management.
- Ensure proper archiving of technical files and as-built documentation.
Pay: $3,800.00 - $5,000.00 per month

- Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate (Required)
