Job Description

Responsibilities

Finance Intern | Summer Intake (Post-Exams) | Financial Literacy, Mentorship & Professional Development

We are a structured team within the financial services space focused on disciplined advisory thinking, clear decision-making, and long-term client outcomes.

Our environment is professional, fast-paced, and development-driven. We prioritise individuals who think critically, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their learning and responsibilities. This is a structured, hands-on internship. Interns are integrated into real workflows from day one, gaining exposure to how financial advisory processes, client coordination, and operational execution work in practice.

Expect a setting where standards are high, feedback is direct, mentorship is intentional, and performance matters.

Role Focus

This internship is designed for individuals who want genuine exposure to financial literacy, advisory frameworks, and real operational workflows within the financial services industry.

The focus is on building strong fundamentals, professional discipline, and applied understanding through structured learning, guided mentorship, and progressive responsibility in real work.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day operational workflows including coordination, documentation, and structured follow-ups
  • Participate in training sessions, market briefings, and development workshops
  • Assist in research, analysis, and preparation of internal and client-facing materials
  • Support case coordination while ensuring accuracy across administrative and operational processes
  • Gain exposure to end-to-end workflow execution — from preparation and planning to implementation and review
  • Engage in mentorship sessions and structured feedback discussions to track learning and performance

What You’ll Gain

  • Strong foundational understanding of core financial concepts (cash flow, protection, investment principles)
  • First-hand exposure to real advisory processes and financial decision-making frameworks
  • Clear understanding of career pathways within financial services and advisory-related roles
  • Development of core professional competencies: structured thinking, communication, discipline, and accountability
  • Direct mentorship and performance-based feedback from experienced practitioners
  • Practical, resume-relevant experience in a structured financial services environment
  • Opportunity to take on greater responsibility based on consistency, performance, and initiative

Who We Want

We are looking for individuals who are serious about learning, consistent in execution, and intentional about building long-term capability — not just completing an internship.

You will be a strong fit if you are:

  • Reliable, disciplined, and accountable in your work
  • Open to feedback and committed to improvement
  • Genuinely interested in financial literacy, markets, or advisory work
  • Clear, structured, and professional in communication
  • Self-driven with strong initiative and learning agility
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • Seeking meaningful development beyond a conventional internship experience

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will close once positions are filled.
