Job Scope:
The Social Media Data & Strategy Analyst or Digital Performance & Insights Strategist is responsible for deep-diving into social media data and marketing metrics to uncover insights that drive growth for Tinker Society’s key client projects. You will translate complex data into clear, actionable stories that help our creative and accounts teams optimize social media engagement, audience acquisition, and campaign ROI. You won’t just report what happened; you will predict what should happen next.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
- Client-Centric Reporting: Focus on major client projects to perform daily, weekly and monthly analytical reports, such as audience demographics, engagement patterns, sentiments, and follower behavior across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, XiaoHongXhu etc.).
- Platform Maintenance: Update and manage real-time dashboards to track KPIs for ongoing social media campaigns.
- Insight Generation: Identify, analyze trends and performance data to provide recommendations for future content pillars, posting schedules, and community management strategies. Identify what works, what doesn’t and why.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with the creative and production teams to suggest "data-backed" content ideas that improve organic and paid reach.
- Quality Assurance (UAT): Execute checks on tracking links (UTMs), pixels, and social media API integrations before launching major marketing campaigns.
- End-to-End Campaign Support: Support the planning and execution of data-driven campaigns, including preparing the logic for audience segmentation and targeting.
- Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain detailed tracking templates or visual dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau) to visualize local market social trends.
- Database Management: Prepare audience lists for CRM and targeted marketing efforts (e.g., email newsletters, retargeting lists).
- Effectiveness Tracking: Prepare "Post-Mortem" reports to measure the ROI and conversion effectiveness of creative marketing efforts.
- Incentive Fulfillment: Manage the data behind campaign giveaways or reward fulfillment to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Campaign Strategy & Project Management
- End-to-End Campaign Ownership: Lead and co-develop comprehensive digital marketing plans, balancing both high-level strategy and tactical execution to hit client objectives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with internal creative departments, video production teams, and external media owners/KOL partners to align campaign messaging, direction, and timely delivery.
- Client Servicing: Manage key client accounts, aligning on KPIs, handling expectation timelines, and presenting campaign strategies confidently.
- Team Leadership & Delegation: Prioritize project milestones and delegate execution tasks (such as scheduling, asset grouping, or initial data pulling) to individual team members, ensuring they are properly trained and resourced.
- Workflow & Process Optimization: Continuously collaborate with the team to establish the best automated processes, templates, and systems for flawless campaign management.
Content Intelligence & Optimization
- Data-Backed Storyboarding: Translate historical engagement patterns and algorithm shifts into actionable creative briefs. Help the creative team storyboard high-performing educational, aesthetic, or viral video formats.
- Copy & Platform Review: Review marketing copy to ensure the structural hooks and Calls-To-Action (CTAs) align perfectly with the target audience logic.
- Gap & White Space Analysis: Identify gaps in a client's current content output compared to competitors and recommend fresh content pillars based on what audiences are actively searching for online.
