Minimum Requirement

• Diploma in Accounting / Accounts / Finance (minimum)

Additional Preferred Qualifications (similar nature)

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Accounting, or related field (advantage)
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MICPA) – completed modules or currently pursuing (advantage)
• LCCI (Level 3/Higher) in Accounting or equivalent accounting qualification (advantage)
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian accounting/statutory requirements or tax exposure is a plus

Ideal Candidate (Fresh Graduate / Entry Level)

• Fresh graduates are welcome; 0–1 year experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Proficient in MS Excel; exposure to accounting software/ERP is an advantage
• Good attention to detail, willingness to learn, able to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer (fresh graduate / entry level) to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in accounting, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing (invoices, payments, receipts)
• Prepare basic accounting documents such as payment vouchers, debit/credit notes, and journal entries
• Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit and compliance purposes
• Support preparation of simple reports and other ad-hoc finance tasks
• Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and external parties when required
