  • Problem-solving: Apply creative and practical thinking to overcome challenges in formulation development and packaging processes.
  • Communication: Provide technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical team members, ensuring understanding and alignment.
  • Time Management: Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Adaptability: Stay flexible and open to changing priorities, ensuring the R&D team can swiftly respond to evolving business needs.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in product development, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards in every project.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide junior chemists and team members, encourage a proactive culture of continuous improvement and learning within the R&D department.

Responsibilities

  • Execute formulation development process according to the schedule.
  • Work on formulations, processes and specification (BMR).
  • Plan in-house clinical and scientific research together with Product & Material Researcher to confirm feasibility of processes and techniques used in the clinical study of finished products.
  • Assist R&D Manager in packaging development process.
  • Provide Technical Support to Operation Team.
  • Provide Technical Support to Marketing Team; a strong understanding of consumer research and marketing is a good advantage to ensure product development aligns with market needs.
