Our clientis a leading investment bank. We are seeking a Senior Automation‑focused QA professional to support business‑critical systems in a regulated financial environment. This is a hands‑on role with a strong emphasis on API automation, functional testing, and BAU support, working closely with developers, business users, and operations teams.

Job Duties:
Own test planning, test strategy, and execution for BAU and project releases
Design, execute, and maintain functional and automated test suites
Build and enhance API automation frameworks using Java and Cucumber
Perform API, integration, regression, and database testing
Execute performance and health‑check testing using JMeter
Validate API responses, data accuracy, and system behavior across layers
Track, report, and manage defects through to resolution
Work closely with developers, business users, and IT teams during delivery cycles
Provide clear test reporting and status updates

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing
Strong experience in API automation and testing in large‑scale systems
Hands‑on experience using Cucumber (BDD), RestAssured, Selenium, Postman, and JMeter
Solid experience with Java‑based automation frameworks
Strong background in database testing and SQL
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
Proven experience supporting BAU releases in a production environment
Comfortable working in structured, control‑driven environments
