Job Description

Responsibilities

The QS Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Contract (QS) Department, ensuring smooth coordination of documentation, quotations, claims, and contractual records for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Contract (QS) Department;
  • Source and obtain quotations for price comparison;
  • Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tenders;
  • Monitor and record variation orders and claims accurately;
  • Ensure progress claims, certifications, and invoices are issued on time;
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for an organized office system;
  • Assist in sourcing, coordinating, and liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors;
  • Monitor contractual records with clients and suppliers to safeguard company interests;
  • Handle general office administration and upkeep duties;
  • Coordinate sample collection and submission to consultants, main contractors, and clients;
  • Provide backup support for reception duties when required;
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in administrative support, QS support, construction, or interior fit-out industry (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of QS documentation, tendering, or construction contracts will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external parties.
  • Able to maintain proper filing system and documentation discipline.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
