Responsibilities

  • Lead the logistics function within the PMT, overseeing Marine Logistics coordination and ensuring full statutory compliance.
  • Manage end-to-end documentation for the import/export and clearance of vessels, materials and equipments from/to Malaysia.
  • Coordinate transportation and custom clearance for all project import/export requirements - Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentations requirements, including knowledge on HS Code classifications
  • Monitor logistics cost and identify cost-saving opportunities, including optimizing routing, consolidation and transport modes
  • Assess and brief project stakeholders on the required approvals and permits by reviewing latest regulatory and authority requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking reports, with providing regular updates to project stakeholders
  • Manage shipment of heavy/oversized cargo
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines and transport contractor
  • Oversee receiving, storage and dispatch of materials


Requirement

  • Advance Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Logistics or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years for Senior Coordinator or Minimum for 5 years for Coordinator role specifically in Oil & Gas Logistics. Experienced working with offshore T&I contractor would be beneficial
  • Full Understanding of Incoterms
  • Well versed with Tariff Code (TC)
  • Have managed equipment movement transaction, including transportation analysis, custom documentations, basic logistics costing and budgeting
  • Experience in managing marine spread movement, including SV, FCB, Transportation Set
  • Knowledge and experience in cargo loadout such as linepipe, structure and subsea equipment, including knowledge in GA Drawing and stowage plan
  • Full understanding of mode of transportation decision making, including air/sea freight booking, container stuffing plan, route plan analysis
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and HS/AHTN classification
  • Experience with ERP Systems (SAP preferred) and logistics software
  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent shipments
  • Strong coordination and communications skills
