Job Description

Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive will support the Business Development Director in driving business growth, client relationship management, sales activities, and administrative coordination. This role requires a proactive, organized, and professional individual who can effectively manage client engagement, identify new business opportunities, and support strategic business initiatives within the interior design industry.

Responsibilities

  • Expand company client base and serve as the main point of contact for external parties and potential clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct meeting follow-ups, prepare action plans, and provide strategic recommendations to the Business Development Director.
  • Achieve sales targets and actively contribute to securing new projects and qualified leads.
  • Prepare quotations, sales proposals, presentations, and sales kits for client meetings and project pitches.
  • Coordinate and secure meeting appointments with potential clients and business partners.
  • Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with client and consultant requirements.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer insights to support business growth strategies and service improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of client requirements.
  • Manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and business-related documentation professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of client information, business activities, and sales progress in the system.
  • Support strategic partnerships, collaborations, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings, especially involving top management.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client servicing, preferably in the interior design, construction, or fit-out industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
