The Business Development Executive will support the Business Development Director in driving business growth, client relationship management, sales activities, and administrative coordination. This role requires a proactive, organized, and professional individual who can effectively manage client engagement, identify new business opportunities, and support strategic business initiatives within the interior design industry.
Responsibilities
- Expand company client base and serve as the main point of contact for external parties and potential clients.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Conduct meeting follow-ups, prepare action plans, and provide strategic recommendations to the Business Development Director.
- Achieve sales targets and actively contribute to securing new projects and qualified leads.
- Prepare quotations, sales proposals, presentations, and sales kits for client meetings and project pitches.
- Coordinate and secure meeting appointments with potential clients and business partners.
- Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with client and consultant requirements.
- Gather market intelligence and customer insights to support business growth strategies and service improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of client requirements.
- Manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and business-related documentation professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of client information, business activities, and sales progress in the system.
- Support strategic partnerships, collaborations, and business expansion initiatives.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings, especially involving top management.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client servicing, preferably in the interior design, construction, or fit-out industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
