Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer with experience in lithography or related semiconductor manufacturing processes to support process optimization, new process development, yield improvement, and manufacturing issue resolution. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process stability, quality improvements, and technology development initiatives.



Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve lithography-related process and quality issues to ensure stable manufacturing operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to improve process capability, yield, and quality performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation, including operating procedures, control plans, and response protocols.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate new process or package development activities.
  • Conduct process capability and process margin studies to assess and optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Lead engineering evaluations, analyze results, and provide timely technical recommendations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support successful process implementation and technology transfers.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.




Ideal Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience in lithography, photolithography, plasma processes, sputtering, electrochemical plating, wet etching, or related semiconductor processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SPC, process control, yield improvement, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with CAD tools, JMP, Minitab, or other statistical software is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate across multiple functions.
