The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities for Go Hub Capital. The role focuses on growing market share in the transportation technology sector (AFC, CTS, TOS, fleet solutions, terminal management systems, etc.), and building strong relationships with government agencies, transportation operators, and enterprise partners. The BDM will work closely with internal teams to ensure proposals and solutions meet client needs while driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within public transportation, mobility, and smart infrastructure sectors.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles: prospecting, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.
2. Market Expansion
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities with measurable conversion metrics.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions.
- Represent Go Hub at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.
3. Relationship Management
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (government ministries, transport agencies, operators, and enterprise clients).
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning Go Hub’s solutions with their strategic goals.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-ups to secure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
4. Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with the Product and Project Management teams to design winning solutions.
- Collaborate with the Finance team for pricing and contract structuring.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects to implementation teams post-contract signing.
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
- Prepare periodic sales reports for management.
- Track personal KPIs against revenue and pipeline goals.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of business development/sales experience, preferably in transportation, IT solutions, or infrastructure.
- Strong track record in closing high-value deals (RM10M+ preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with government tendering processes and enterprise contract cycles
