- Minimum with Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering / Building Construction certification or equivalent.
- Computer literate, preferable in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent
Main duties
1. Planning, Execution & Coordination
- Plan and schedule delivery of precast components to project sites. Monitor delivery progress and adjust schedules when necessary.
- Coordinate daily /weekly delivery schedules with production, project and site teams. Update delivery plan based on production changes.
- Prioritize deliveries based on site installation sequence. Ensure delivery aligns with project timeline and erection sequence.
- Liaise with production team regarding product readiness. Coordinate loading schedule with yard and production supervisors.
- Confirm delivery availability based on QC inspection clearance.
- Arrange transportation vehicles, trailers, and cranes.
- Coordinate with transporters for assigning delivery arrangement and vehicle allocation.
- Monitor vehicle availability and utilization and ensure transportation capacity meets project demands.
- Monitor delivery progress and transportation status. Track vehicle movement and delivery completion.
2. Supervision & Workforce Management
- Coordinate with Rebar Yard Supervisor on daily reinforcement consumption data
3. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure all rebar meets project specifications
- Manage material certificates, test reports, and traceability documentation
- Support internal and third-party audits of inventory and handling procedures
4. Interdepartmental Coordination
- Liaise with Procurement to follow up on open POs and delivery schedules
- Work with Production Engineers to align material availability to fabrication plans
5. Material & Resource Management
- Maintain accurate, real-time stock records in SAP systems
- Conduct regular physical cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels; trigger replenishment orders
- Verify & inspect incoming rebar deliveries against purchase orders for quantity, weightage, grade, and certification
- Coordinate unloading and placement in designated yard zones
6. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving
- Identify bottlenecks and issues in Rebar Yard and take prompt action to resolve them.
- Escalate major issues to the Rebar Yard Engineer / Operation Manager and provide support in implementing solutions.
7. Health, Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety standards and practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, safety audits, and corrective actions and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the rebar yard area.
- Monitor and make sure the workers & staffs work in safe environment with good PPE condition.
8. Reporting & Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare daily/weekly inventory and movement reports
- Highlight stock variances, aging materials, and potential bottlenecks
- Propose layout or process enhancements to optimize yard flow and minimize handling damage
9. Training & Development
- Support the development and training of rebar yard staff and worker to improve skill levels and job efficiency.
10. Other Duties
- Carry out any additional responsibilities as delegated by the Rebar Yard Engineer/ Assistant Production Manager / Production Manager.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
