We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong database and data management expertise to support our client which is a leading global investment bank. The ideal candidate will support payment-related platforms and data ecosystems, and be responsible for managing and analyzing data across multiple upstream and downstream systems. He/she will ensure data integrity, supporting API integrations, and contributing to data strategy initiatives within the payments domain

Key Responsibilitie

• s:Design, develop, and maintain data solutions to support payment processing and transaction management platform
• s.Manage data flows and integrations between upstream and downstream systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completenes
• s.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions for reporting, analytics, and operational need
• s.Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvemen
• t.Support API-based integrations between internal and external platforms, ensuring seamless data exchang
• e.Work closely with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solution
• s.Investigate and resolve data-related issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measure
• s.Define and implement data governance, quality controls, and data management best practice
• s.Contribute to the development of data architecture and long-term data strategy initiative
