Role Overview

The Finance Executive (AP) is a critical role responsible for the daily financial operations of a diverse portfolio of brands and business entities. You will manage the full spectrum of accounts payable and treasury matters, ensuring high-volume transactions are processed accurately and aligned with group-wide financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity AP Operations: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function for multiple entities and brands, ensuring all expenses are accurately captured in the SQL accounting system.
• Treasury & Fund Management: Coordinate weekly payments and fund transfers across various bank accounts and entities. Ensure all payments and bank reconciliations are completed in accordance with company policy.
• Expense Verification: Ensure proper allocation of expenses to the correct General Ledger (GL) and project codes.
• Month-End & Inter-company Support: Assist in the month-end closing process for multiple business units, including the preparation of provisions, accruals, and inter-company reclassifications.
• Vendor & Audit Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with vendors by performing regular Statement of Account (SOA) reconciliations. Support the team in preparing schedules for year-end audits across all brands.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Support the finance team with reporting or other tasks as required.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a multi-company or group-shared services environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Competencies: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and multi-entity reporting.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Independent, results-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage different deadlines for various brands.
• Location: Must be willing to work in USJ 10, Taipan.
