Air Liquide Global Export Materials (ALGEM) is the Global Gas Sourcing and Supply Chain Platform of Air Liquide Group for electronic specialty materials in APAC, managing more than 1,500 shipments a year, for all Air Liquide Affiliates in APAC. Based in Malaysia with four antennas in Seoul, Shanghai, Vietnam and Kuala Lumpur, ALGEM manages the international logistics for globally and regionally traded materials (SiH4, NF3, CF4, etc..), all regions included (Asia/Europe/US).
How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?
As a Logistics Coordinator in ALGEM, you will manage :
Import and Export Operations
- Coordinate with the Gas(DG) and Non-DG suppliers the good execution of the shipments as planned
- Monitor the status of her/his shipments through the ALGEM tools (Order Tracking File, NAVAL, Gideons reports) on a daily basis
- Organize shipments (empty and full), in accordance with Affiliates needs ensuring continuity of supply in a efficient way
- ERP daily transaction and monitor - GIDEONS
- Proactively alert/report delay shipments through AGLEM tools (Delay report follow up)
Documentation
- Work with internal team to ensure customs clearance of all imported goods and proper administration process until the final acceptance of goods/services
- Provide timely and accurately all relevant and needed shipping documentations to AL Affiliates (BL, (e)COA, Invoice ... etc)
- Ensure timely update of the Order Tracking file for the related shipments and scope
- Invoice AL Affiliates for each shipment upon EXW
Compliance and continuous improvement
- Cross functional work with logistics & planning, procurement, Business and QHSE within ALGEM organization to achieve ALGEM goal such as Safety, Quality, Reliability and Efficiency target.
- Comply with International Transport of dangerous goods regulation (Road and Sea freight Transportation for Dangerous Goods)
- Identify the Logistics dysfunctions (lead time, cost, quality) and suggest actions to improve the situations.
Who Are We Looking For?
The successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or International Trade
- > 3 years of experience in Logistics and SCM department in Gas and Chemical industry or Freight forwarding industry
- Experience in supply chain, order taking, logistics arrangement within the Chemical/Industrial Gas industry with a customer facing role. Knowledge of Air Liquide business model is a plus.
- Experience in dealing with Dangerous Goods cargoes and in Freight forwarding industry
- IMDG certificate is preferred
- CPIM is preferred
- Good communication in English, very organized, rigorous, reliable, independent, transparent and diligent.
