CAB FEED SDN BHD Hiring! Full Time Formulator in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are seeking a Formulator to deliver innovative animal nutrition solutions and feed recipes that meet customer expectations and optimize value. Working closely with manufacturing sites, the Formulator will leverage research and technical expertise to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage feed formulations: Update ingredient specifications, adjust and transfer formulas to production, monitor schedules to keep formulas current and maintain accurate ingredient costs with weekly re‑costing under the guidance of the Formulation Manager
• Strengthen customer insight: Ensure feed formulas meet business and customer expectations by conducting plant visits, attending industry conferences, monitoring feed performance, supporting FSQR in complaint resolution, gathering farm feedback, and assisting with pricing/COGS data
• Support compliance and audits: Act as backup for Regulatory Affairs by coordinating FEED ACT documentation (manufacturing and sales licenses) and assist with renewals. Standby as HACCP Audit Coordinator for the RMS department to ensure regulatory and quality standards are met
• Learning Objectives: Work under the supervision of the Formulation Manager to complete a structured training program. Gain knowledge of feed ingredients and nutrient characteristics, learn to operate the CAB Formulation system for optimal nutrition formulas, and participate in cross‑departmental training to understand interdepartmental functions and collaboration with formulation teams

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine, Animal Nutrition, Business, or related field (CGPA 3.0+)
• 2–4 years’ experience in animal nutrition or food/agriculture industry
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; detail‑oriented and organize
• Proven ability with numbers and mathematic
• Effective team player with cross‑functional collaboration (sales, plant ops)
• Excellent English communication skills, oral and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
