Job description:

1. End-User & Device Support:

- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including OS installation, configuration, and enterprise applications.
- Managing on-site and remote end-user requests effectively.

2. Network & Infrastructure Maintenance:

-Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network equipment like firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
- Ensure network stability and security by managing firewall policies and VPNs.
- Implement security patches on time and perform vulnerability scanning.

3. Systems Administration & Monitoring:

Administer and configure for endpoint management, software/patch deployment, and enforcing security policies on all devices.
- Configure and manage system to monitor network devices, set performance thresholds, and respond to alerts.
- Manage Microsoft 365 environment, including administering Exchange Email, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage user access and permissions using Active Directory.

4. IT Service Management:

-Utilize system for incident management, change management, and request fulfillment.
- Document technical processes, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintaining documentation of IT infrastructure and security processes, policies, and incident reports.
- Preparing regular reports on the status of IT infrastructure and security.

Requirement:

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often required. Those without required qualification but relevant experience will be considered.

- Experience min 2 -3 years of relevant working experience in a similar IT support or engineering role.

-Experience in managing IT projects and teams is often required, good documentation habits.

-Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and developments in IT support, infrastructure and security.

-Well-rounded IT professional who can handle both day-to-day end-user support and the maintenance of network and management system

-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and have ability to work independently.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
