We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Analyst to join our team based in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:

• Coordinate with business units, legal teams, and banking partners for bank account administration, management of bank signatories, and e-banking system access.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders across APAC, including teams in Australia, Singapore, and other regional offices.
• Support bank account openings, banking structure implementations, and treasury-related projects.

Banking Management:

• Ensure bank mandates and signatory records are updated accurately and in accordance with Treasury policies.
• Perform regular audits of bank records against the Treasury Management System and other internal systems.
• Manage bank account lifecycle activities, including account openings, closures, and KYC documentation.
• Maintain bank guarantee and intercompany loan databases, including monthly reviews and reconciliations.

Reporting & Cash Management:

• Prepare and analyze daily and periodic cash position reports.
• Record treasury transactions accurately and promptly within the Treasury Management System.
• Support payment processing activities and identify opportunities for process improvements and banking cost reductions.
• Ensure compliance with treasury controls, accounting standards, and internal policies.

Operational Excellence & Project Support:

• Document, review, and update treasury procedures to ensure alignment with company policies and best practices.
• Monitor and manage the treasury group mailbox, ensuring timely responses and proper handling of inquiries.
• Support treasury transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

• 7–10 years of treasury, banking, cash management, or finance experience within a multinational corporation.
• Experience supporting regional treasury operations across APAC markets is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of bank account management, bank transfers, signatory management, KYC requirements, and treasury controls.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and online banking platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple countries and functions.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
