Art Teacher/ Fine Art Teacher
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher/ Fine Art Teacher to join our vibrant teaching team. The ideal candidate will guide students in crafting their art and design portfolios, provide expert support for university admissions, and inspire their creative growth. Alongside teaching general art courses, this role also involves mentoring students aiming to pursue art-related university programs, helping them prepare comprehensive entrance portfolios.
Working Mode:
Full-Time: 5 vacancies (on-site)
Part-Time: 3-5 vacancies (on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer professional guidance to students in developing their art, design, and graphic design portfolios.
- Assist students in creating impactful projects aligned with university application standards.
- Guide students through every stage of portfolio development, from initial concept to final presentation.
- Support students interested in art-focused higher education by helping them prepare their entrance portfolios.
- Conduct engaging lessons, workshops, and critique sessions to foster growth.
- Keep abreast of current trends and requirements in art and design education and admissions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA) or master's degrees (MA) in Art & Design, or relevant fields from reputable institutions.
- Candidate should be a graduate from a top-ranked university, preferably from institutions such as NUS, UAS, Lasalle, NYFA (Singapore); UAL, RCA, GSA (UK); HKU, PolyU (Hong Kong); RISD, Pratt, Parsons (US); or Bournemouth, Teesside, BCU (UK).
- An impressive personal portfolio demonstrating high-quality work; professional experience is a plus.
- Experience in art and design teaching, portfolio mentoring, or university application advising is preferred.
- Passionate about art education with a responsible and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor students effectively.
Working Hours:
Monday: off
Tuesday to Friday : 1.30pm - 7.30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9.00am - 7.30pm
