Accounts Payable Clerk | Petaling Jaya | 6-Month Contract

Our client, a globally recognised organisation in the technology sector, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team in Petaling Jaya on a 6-month contract basis.

The Role
A role where your attention to detail drives real impact:

• Processing high-volume vendor invoices across multiple regions (US, APAC and EMEA) via manual and EDI entry
• Applying 3-way matching principles from purchase order through to payment
• Managing vendor setup, maintenance, and compliance processes
• Reviewing and auditing expense reports, providing analysis to senior stakeholders
• Overseeing the corporate card programme and monthly reconciliations
• Generating month-end and quarter-end AP reports, including accruals and ageing
• Running weekly payment batches and resolving system-related issues
• Supporting internal and external audit processes

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:

• A degree or certification in Accounting or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of AP experience within a global organisation
• Exposure to multi-regional finance requirements across APAC, EMEA and the US
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data linking)
• Experience with Microsoft D365 or a comparable ERP system is advantageous
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• The ability to manage a busy workload effectively in a high-volume environment
