We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support assigned Business Units in driving people initiatives, employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, and employee relations.

This role is ideal for HR professionals who enjoy partnering with leaders, influencing organisational outcomes, and creating a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Drive the implementation and effectiveness of the Performance Management System (PMS).
  • Support goal setting, performance reviews, probation assessments, and performance improvement plans.
  • Coach managers on performance conversations and employee development.
  • Identify capability gaps and support talent development initiatives.

Employee Relations & HR Advisory

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned Business Units.
  • Handle employee enquiries, grievances, and workplace concerns.
  • Support disciplinary and performance-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and employment legislation.

Workforce Planning & Talent Support

  • Partner managers on manpower planning and workforce requirements.
  • Coordinate recruitment needs with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Monitor employee movements, confirmations, promotions, and retention risks.
  • Support organisational structure and workforce planning initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Conduct employee pulse checks and gather workforce feedback.
  • Support retention and employee wellbeing programmes.
  • Promote Company values and a positive workplace culture.

HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare HR reports relating to headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and employee relations.
  • Analyse workforce trends and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor HR KPIs and workforce effectiveness metrics.

Change Management

  • Support organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
  • Assist managers and employees in adapting to new processes and structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Management, or related HR functions.
  • Good understanding of Malaysian Employment Act and HR best practices.
  • Experience in performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence managers at all levels.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments or business units is an added advantage.
