  • Position: Lead Data Engineer
  • Location: Hyderabad (preferred),Chennai, Banglore
  • Experience: 10 - 11
  • Employment Type: Fulltime

Key Skills

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and data pipelines.
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define data strategy and roadmap.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, gather business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures.
  • Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, and architectural governance.
  • Mentor and guide data engineers and developers.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide production support and oversee issue resolution for critical data platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in data engineering and architecture.

Responsibilities

 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Architecture.

  • Strong experience in designing enterprise-scale data solutions.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with StreamSets, Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or similar tools.
  • Strong SQL and database expertise (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, or Hadoop.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
  • Leadership Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers.
  • Conduct code reviews and architecture reviews.
  • Define technical standards and best practices.
  • Drive resource planning and project execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline
