We are looking for a hands-on Azure Infrastructure Engineer / Architect with strong experience in designing, building, and implementing Azure cloud environments from scratch. This role is focused on Azure infrastructure architecture, networking, governance, and integration, rather than container or Kubernetes-focused DevOps operations.
The ideal candidate should have deep technical ownership in Azure environments and strong understanding of Azure networking concepts, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and enterprise cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and deploy Azure cloud infrastructure from the ground up
- Build and manage Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale Azure environments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep
- Design and manage Hub & Spoke network architecture within Azure
- Configure and manage Azure networking components including:
- Virtual Networks (VNet)
- NSG
- Route Tables
- Azure Firewall
- ExpressRoute / VPN Connectivity
- vWAN / vHub
- Implement Azure governance, RBAC, policies, and security best practices
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and provide scalable cloud solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize Azure infrastructure and connectivity issues
- Support integration and connectivity across enterprise platforms and services
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Bicep
- Experience building Azure environments from scratch, not only supporting existing infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Azure networking and connectivity architecture
- Strong knowledge of Hub & Spoke architecture with good fundamental networking understanding
- Experience with Azure Landing Zone implementation
