Regulatory Specialist I Asia Pacific Raw Material reviewer

About the Role

Responsible for Raw Material Regulatory compliances, validate and approve vendor documentation for Raw Materials across Asia Pacific countries. Coordinate alternative vendor approvals with cross functional team i.e. RD&E, procurement partners. Monitor changes in regional regulatory requirements and communicate impacts to Global RM Lead and relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Convert Global RM strategy into regional procedures, timelines, and controls to ensure adherence.
• Align regional activities with global RM strategies and priorities.
• Provide input on global initiatives, ensuring Asia Pacific requirements are considered in decision-making.
• Review and approve Raw Material Impact Analyses; Analyze, interpret data and mandate mitigations where required.
• Oversee the implementation of new regulatory processes or system enhancements, identify emerging trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Lead regional workstreams on global/cross-regional initiatives as directed.
• Participate in global Raw Material meetings and contribute to cross-regional collaboration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regional regulatory queries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support AI & digitalization projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, food technology, toxicology, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs or relevant field.
• General understanding of regulatory requirement across Asia Pacific countries.
• Experienced using SAP systems.
• Fluency in English and able to communicate effectively.
• Proactive, self-motivated, collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with automatization tools are optional.
