Assistant Chief Concierge is responsible for assisting in supervision of the hotel concierge function including the following teams: Bell services, Concierge & valet parking. This position spends the majority of time in the lobby of the hotel so as to manage the service experience and offer personalised services as anticipated.
Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Concierge in carrying out rules, policies and procedures set.
Supervise Concierge Colleagues’ attendance according to the duty roster and supervise their performance while on duty.
Acts as a key in the vertical communication channel between the Chief Concierge and the teams. All the necessary information and are up-to-date and precise when answering to guests queries.
Ensure that all new join concierges are adequately instructed in service rules, policies and procedures; ensuring that service procedures are adhered to and carried out in detail and are corrected through constant on-the-job training.
Conduct training courses for in order to up-keep professional standard of service
Supervise the service of receiving, stringing, shipping and packaging parcels and baggage for the guests.
Stay abreast of all functions and events which take place both inside and outside of the Hotel.
Qualifications
Holder of Higher Diploma in hospitality-related discipline; University graduate is preferred.
8 years or above experience in Concierge of luxury hotel.
Possess an extensive personal network among the industry.
Profound skill of delegation, leadership, team management, training and customer service.
Open minded, service oriented, outgoing, proactive and able to work under pressure and stressful environment.
