Solution Architect – APAC

Compensation: SGD 250,000 – SGD 325,000 (Base) + 2 Months Variable Bonus + Stock Options

The Opportunity

Celotti Tech Talent has been exclusively retained by a high-growth, industry-leading data infrastructure company to secure a Solution Architect for the APAC region.

Acting as the critical bridge between enterprise customers, sales, product, and engineering, this role demands a rare blend of deep technical execution and high-level commercial acumen. You will take ownership of complex data architecture discussions, drive technical discovery, and operate as a trusted advisor to CTOs, data leaders, and engineering teams across the region.

Core Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Solution Design: Lead technical discovery sessions, translate complex customer pain points into actionable technical solutions, and design architecture diagrams and technical proposals.
• Technical Execution: Drive product demonstrations and run highly effective Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements for enterprise clients.
• Advisory & Troubleshooting: Act as the ultimate technical authority for customers, advising on performance optimization, scalability, seamless migration, and deployment best practices while troubleshooting complex bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior enterprise stakeholders (CTOs, Architects, Data Leaders) across APAC.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with global sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure optimal solution fit, seamless customer onboarding, and long-term product adoption.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5-10 years in solution architecture, pre-sales, sales engineering, or data/database engineering in a highly customer-facing capacity.
• Technical Depth: Hands-on expertise in big data, database systems, data platforms, or distributed architectures. Deep understanding of SQL, analytics workloads, data warehousing, real-time data processing, or OLAP systems.
• Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of guiding enterprise customers through the full lifecycle: discovery, demo, POC, implementation, and adoption.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to distill and communicate complex technical concepts to both highly technical engineering teams and non-technical business executives.
• Language: English proficiency is strictly required; Mandarin is highly preferred to support specific regional accounts.

Preferred Technical & Industry Background

• Ecosystem Experience: Deep familiarity with modern data stacks including Kafka, Snowflake, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Apache Doris, StarRocks, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• Industry Exposure: Previous tenure with database vendors, cloud providers, AI infrastructure, or open-source tech companies. Experience servicing Financial Services, Manufacturing, Tech, Gaming, Logistics, or E-commerce sectors is a strong plus.
