Responsibilities

Role Highlights
Provide L3 operational ownership of enterprise network security platforms in a regulated banking/financial services environment
Act as a senior escalation point for complex, high-impact incidents
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions
Support high-risk changes with proper impact analysis and rollback planning
Operate in an audit-driven, low-tolerance environment
Key Responsibilities
L3 ownership of network security services across data center and enterprise environments
Lead Major Incident response (including vendor escalation and technical coordination)
Perform RCA and implement preventive actions
Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews with technical evidence
Execute and review Incident / Problem / Change activities in line with ITIL
Technical Scope
Cisco Data Center technologies, including ACI (fabric design, policy modelling, fault isolation)
Cisco Catalyst L2/L3 switching (e.g., 29xx/3xxx/4900/6500/4500-X)
EVPN/VXLAN, automation, HA architectures
Advanced routing & switching: BGP, OSPF, VRFs, segmentation, redundancy patterns
Cisco ISE (NAC, authentication/authorization, policy enforcement)
Fortinet security stack: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer
Required Qualifications
5+ years hands-on L3 network security operations
8–10 years overall experience
Strong hands-on Cisco Data Center experience (including ACI)
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-domain issues under pressure
Experience supporting banking/financial services or other regulated environments
Good knowledge of ITIL Incident / Problem / Change Management
Excellent communication with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders (English required)
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL Foundation (or higher)
Cisco and/or Fortinet certifications
Cantonese/Mandarin (value add)
H3C and/or Arista switches (nice to have)
