Adecco is partnering our client, a leading global technology organisation, to search for a Privacy Support Specialist (South Korea Local Agent).
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting user privacy inquiries and ensuring compliance with Korean data protection regulations (PIPA), while delivering high-quality, user-centric support in a fast-paced environment.
Role will be 100% onsite due to nature of role (no WFH).
The Talent
Native-level Korean (written and spoken) to answer phone calls from Native South Korean users.
1–3 years of experience in customer support, operations, compliance roles
Strong understanding of handling sensitive user data with confidentiality and discretion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Customer-oriented mindset with empathy and professionalism in handling user issues
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy with strong documentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn internal systems
Ability to work Korean business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM SGT)
Nice to have:
Experience in privacy, data protection, or regulatory compliance
Familiarity with data subject rights (access, correction, deletion requests)
Understanding of PIPA or other data privacy regulations
Experience working in a global or tech-driven environment
The Job
Handle inbound calls and inquiries from South Korea users regarding privacy and data-related matters
Accurately capture and document user details, issues, and case information
Assess and categorise inquiries (e.g. privacy requests, account access, data rights)
Complete intake forms and route cases to internal teams within defined SLAs
Maintain accurate records in line with data privacy and compliance standards
Follow SOPs for complaint handling and data protection processes
Participate in compliance training and support regulatory audits when required
Track and report inquiry volumes, trends, and escalation patterns
Assist with reporting of data incidents and support internal coordination
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure smooth operations
