Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur for a Technical Account Director (Cloud & Data Migrations). The person in this role will own strategic customer relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for enterprise clients adopting Ironbook AI’s cloud and data migration solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing complex migration programs, coordinating technical implementation across cloud platforms, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer business outcomes. The role involves leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, collaborating with sales and product teams to identify growth opportunities, and translating technical roadmaps into clear, value-focused account plans. The Technical Account Director will also help shape best practices for cloud modernization, drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, and represent customer needs internally to inform product and solution enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong account management skills, including ownership of strategic relationships, stakeholder engagement, and long-term value delivery for enterprise customers.
• Experience in complex data and cloud migration projects
• Demonstrated team leadership and team management experience, with a track record of guiding cross-functional technical and commercial teams toward shared objectives.
• Proven sales and commercial acumen, including identifying expansion opportunities, supporting proposals, and collaborating on pricing and negotiations.
• Robust project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, status reporting, and governance across multi-phase cloud and data migration programs.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms and data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Confluent, MinIO) and experience with data migration or modernization initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with enterprise clients in Malaysia (10+ presales or tech delivery experience) ; background in AI, data platforms, or cloud consulting is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
