Singapore Airlines Hiring! Full Time Public Affairs Officer in - Ricebowl

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate Planning Division, Public Affairs Department. He/She will provide admin and logistics support for the efficient management of the department’s activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and circulate daily press clippings and media coverage reports to Management
• Disseminate news releases and other communications materials
• Provide event logistical support including coordinating vendors, venue and transport bookings, among others
• Process and verify invoices and payments and assist with the department’s annual operating budget and monthly tracking
• Provide operational support during crisis activations
• Provide HR-related administrative support for the department, including preparing shift roster schedules
• Take minutes for departmental meetings
• Maintain an inventory of gifts and monitor the stock of giveaways and stored items
• Any other duties assigned by the department head or reporting officer
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline (Mass Communications or Finance would be an advantage)
• Background in mass communications would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in finance-related matters such as budgeting and invoice processing will be an advantage
• Ability to develop multi-media communications materials such as infographics, photography, and videos, would be an advantage
• Organised, meticulous, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
• Digitally savvy, willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning and using IT software and systems
• Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
