Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage job postings on various portals and social media platforms.
- Candidate Management: Perform initial resume screening, conduct phone brief-ins, and manage the interview pipeline (scheduling and panel coordination).
- Onboarding: Facilitate the Day-1 orientation and ensure all P-files (Physical/Digital) are completed and compliant with company standards.
2. Learning & Development (L&D)
- TNA Execution: Administer the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by collecting and consolidating data from department heads.
- L&D Logistics: Full-cycle coordination of training programs (venue, trainer liaison, and attendance).
- HRDC Management: End-to-end processing of HRD Corp grants and claims, ensuring 100% compliance to avoid claim rejections.
- Competency Tracking: Maintain the skills matrix and training database to ensure the workforce meets ISO/IMS requirements.
3. Industrial Relations (IR) & Compliance
- Assist in the preparation of disciplinary and IR-related documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of documentation in accordance with Company standards
- Coordinate and administer Domestic Inquiry (DI) processes, including scheduling, documentation, and logistics
- Maintain proper tracking and filing of all IR cases for audit and reference
- Monitor timelines of disciplinary processes and follow up accordingly
- Stay updated on the Employment Act 1955 (including recent amendments) and the Industrial Relations Act 1967 to provide accurate advice to employees and ensure all internal practices remain compliant with Malaysian Law.
4. Employee Engagement & Site Operations
- Site Presence: Conduct regular plant/site walkthroughs to bridge the gap between management and the operation; identify morale or safety concerns early.
- Grievance Handling: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies.
- Internal Comms: Draft and disseminate internal memos, newsletters, or announcements to ensure consistent communication.
- Engagement: Lead the execution of staff welfare activities, festive celebrations.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of HR experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Exposure to IR support, training coordination (HRDC/e-TRiS), or employee relations is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with HR systems/processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both BM and English.
- Capable of working with minimum supervision, demonstrating honesty and high integrity.
- Must be willing to be based at Pulau Indah, Port Klang.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
