Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager
The Role
At Luxis, operations are not routine. They are orchestrated.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you are the operational anchor across the restaurant, KTV, and SPA. You ensure that every movement on the floor is deliberate, every transition seamless, and every guest experience consistent in standard and tone.
You do not simply support operations. You uphold the rhythm, discipline, and execution of the house.
Core Responsibilities
- Operational Execution & Floor ControlDrive daily operations across the restaurant, KTV, and SPA, ensuring precision in opening and closing procedures, reservation flow, and overall service rhythm. Maintain full awareness of floor dynamics and intervene where necessary to preserve flow and control.
- Service Standards & ConsistencyEnforce and uphold service standards across all areas. Ensure every guest interaction reflects professionalism, attentiveness, and quiet excellence, with no compromise in detail or consistency.
- Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop frontline teams including service crew, reception, KTV, and SPA personnel. Oversee scheduling, guide performance, and instill discipline, awareness, and ownership within the team.
- On-Site Leadership & Problem ResolutionTake command of the floor during service, especially peak periods. Respond decisively to operational challenges, guest feedback, and unexpected disruptions, ensuring continuity and control at all times.
- Guest Experience & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong guest relationships. Understand context, anticipate needs, and handle requests or feedback with discretion, confidence, and care to elevate satisfaction and loyalty.
- Inventory & Cost DisciplineOversee inventory across all operational areas including food, beverage, and SPA supplies. Maintain control of usage, replenishment, and wastage to ensure operational efficiency and cost discipline.
- Hygiene, Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and operational safety standards across all areas. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal expectations without exception.
- Cross-Department CoordinationMaintain clear and consistent communication with kitchen, SPA, and management teams. Ensure alignment, clarity, and efficiency across all departments to support seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Experience BackgroundMinimum 2–4 years of experience in hospitality or related service industries. Prior experience as a supervisor or assistant manager is preferred. Exposure to KTV or SPA operations is an advantage.
- Service AwarenessStrong attention to detail with a refined sense of service. Able to read situations, understand guest expectations, and respond appropriately.
- Leadership & ExecutionDemonstrates leadership presence on the floor with the ability to guide teams under pressure while maintaining composure and control.
- Communication SkillsClear and effective communicator, capable of managing both team dynamics and guest relationships with confidence.
- Language SkillsFluent in Mandarin and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Work EthicHighly responsible, disciplined, and adaptable to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Professional PresenceWell-groomed, composed, and carries a professional demeanor aligned with a high-end private environment.

Compensation: RM4,500.00 – RM5,500.00 per month, with performance-based incentives
