Speed Concrete Industries Hiring! Full Time Senior Design Engineer in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 5,500 - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the execution of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Design structures using reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• Develop and design spreadsheets as well as using computer software packages.
• Provide direction and guidance to sales team and production team to ensure accurate execution of requested measurements, quality, design, and overall fit of products.
• Able to lead and coordinate with draftsman for structural detailing and drawing preparation.
• To prepare all technical drawings for preliminary, proposal, construction, shop drawing, as-built drawing and other related drawings according to specification.
• To ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• To generate for material take-off (BOM) list according to drawing and specification.
• To maintain drawings documentation & storing.
• To ensure drawings are accurate and in keeping with design intentions.
• Prepare multiple versions of drawing (production drawings) for review by supervisors.
• Design plans using computer-aided design and 2D & 3D drafting (AUTOCAD) software.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to complete task with time given.
• To assist sales team, project team, production team, management team and any other work as directed.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in CIVIL ENGINEERING design works(Precast Concrete).
• Conversant with latest design codes and authority requirements (Codes of practice, directives, etc.).
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Microsoft Office, Prokon, Plaxis, Wallap.
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN or equivalent.
• With good technical knowledge/background.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• With good attitude towards work and timeline.
• Able to work beyond office hours to meet project deadlines.
• Able to work independently to support the Qualified Person.
• Can start work immediately (full-time basis).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
