At The Kettle Gourmet, we're not just another snack brand — we're rewriting the rules of flavour and customer experience. Founded by Zac Chua, we thrive on bold ideas, relentless execution, and a team that actually owns their work. No corporate bureaucracy. No hand-holding. Just real accountability, real impact, and the chance to build something iconic from the ground up.
Why this role isn't for everyone
We need an Operations & Admin Executive who's done with roles where nothing is your problem. Someone who:
- Gets things done without being told twice
- Treats the business like it's their own — because operationally, it kind of is
- Finds satisfaction in a system that runs cleanly, not chaos that keeps them busy
This is for you if
- You take ownership of a tracker and actually keep it updated
- You're the person who notices something's about to go wrong before it does
- You want your work to directly impact real revenue, not sit in a backlog
- You're comfortable juggling daily fulfillment, supplier coordination, and finance admin — without losing the thread on any of them
What you'll own
Operations & fulfillment
- Daily fulfillment for Shopify, Shopee, and Lazada orders — pack, coordinate, dispatch
- Liaise with Shopee riders for instant delivery cut-offs (3pm daily)
- Coordinate B2B order pickups and deliveries via Lalamove and other logistics partners
- Maintain inventory tracker daily across B2B, offline, and ecommerce channels
- Manage stock movement between office and warehouse
- Bi-weekly inventory reporting — flag expiring goods and low stock levels
- Place and track factory orders to ensure timely stock replenishment
Procurement
- Source and evaluate suppliers for ad-hoc items (packaging, marketing materials, booth supplies)
- Manage recurring monthly supplies — carton boxes, tapes, airway bills
- Update expense tracker weekly across all procurement items
Finance & admin
- Generate and send invoices to B2B clients
- Send monthly Statement of Accounts (SOA) to all B2B accounts by end of month
- Handle general admin coordination with the Singapore HQ team
Product development support
- Coordinate with factory on new flavour and product development (monthly)
- Facilitate internal taste tests and compile feedback
- Ensure packaging copy accuracy before production sign-off
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or ecommerce fulfillment
- Comfortable with Google Sheets — you actually keep trackers updated
- Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Shopee, Lazada) is a strong advantage
- Basic invoicing and admin experience
- Organised, reliable, and proactive — you flag problems before they become fires
- English proficiency required. Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a bonus
- Able to start immediately
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm
- Saturday 9am - 3pm
- Flexible early finish (3pm) on 2 days of your choice each week — Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
Why join us
- Small team, real ownership — your work is visible and it matters
- No layers of approval for day-to-day decisions — just get it done
- From Malaysia to regional — we're actively expanding into new markets and you'll grow with us
- Competitive salary, reviewed based on performance
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Additional leave
- Opportunities for promotion
- Professional development
