We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead test automation for Lightway, our modern, open-source VPN protocol built in Rust.

You'll design and build automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our VPN technology across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Working closely with engineers and security specialists, you'll help deliver a fast, secure, and seamless experience for millions of users.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for the Lightway protocol.
• Develop end-to-end tests covering connectivity, failover, performance, and real-world network conditions.
• Design and execute security, scalability, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to improve quality, test coverage, and release confidence.
• Drive continuous improvements in our testing strategy and infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing.
• Experience testing networking protocols such as VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, or HTTP/HTTPS.
• Strong scripting skills (Python preferred).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and protocol testing.
• Experience with CI/CD environments and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
