Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Costing Executive located in Singapore. We are seeking a detail-oriented Costing Executive to manage product costing within our antimicrobial cleaning products manufacturing operations. The role involves calculating production costs, analysing raw material and packaging costs, and supporting basic bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is strong with numbers, analytical, and familiar with manufacturing cost structures.

Qualifications

•    Prepare and maintain accurate product costing for antimicrobial cleaning product SKUs (per batch, per carton, per bottle)

•    Calculate cost of raw materials, packaging (bottles, caps, labels, cartons), labor, and production overheads

•    Perform standard vs. actual cost variance analysis and report deviations

•    Support pricing and margin analysis for products

•    Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and update with price changes

•    Track inventory costs for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods

•    Perform basic bookkeeping: journal entries, ledger maintenance, transaction recording

•    Reconcile accounts and support month-end closing

•    Verify supplier invoices and track production expenses

•    Generate periodic costing reports for management

•    Support internal and statutory audits with relevant cost data

Requirements

•    Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting, or related field

•    2–3 years of costing experience, preferably in manufacturing (FMCG, chemicals, or consumer goods)

•    Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail

•    Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)

•    Working knowledge of accounting/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks)

•    Understanding of manufacturing cost concepts (BOM, standard costing, overhead absorption)

•    Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred (Optional)

•    Experience in chemical, cleaning, or FMCG manufacturing

•    Familiarity with inventory and batch production costing

•    Knowledge of local regulatory and product compliance requirements (e.g., antimicrobial / disinfectant product standards)
