Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to manage the full set of accounts and support the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, handling month-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and reimbursements.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in cash flow forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
  • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in tax compliance matters including corporate tax, withholding tax, SST, and e-invoicing requirements.
  • Monitor debtor collections and creditor payments.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience handling full set of accounts.
  • Knowledge of accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
