YOUR ROLE

As Backfinish Process Engineer, you will be responsible to provide technical expertise and support on specific Backfinish tool type, accountable to best-in-class process management and real time problem analysis to achieve best possible process performance (process control plan, wafer fab yield, process throughput and cost efficiency).

Your responsibilities will include

• Work independently and closely with the maintenance engineer, shift process engineer/technicians and production to establish a robust manufacturing process via real time engineering solutions.
• Manage new process/equipment start-up and collaborating with vendor for acceptance
• Develop and maintain robust process control plan for optimal process quality and efficiency
• Drive safety excellence by conducting regular GEMBA audit, identify potential risk and foster a safety awareness culture
• Provide cross functional / cross-fab support based on needs & priority.
• Role model for demonstrating ST leadership model and align to management's direction and objective (Quality, Service and Cost)

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronics or Common engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Basic knowledge of Backfinish process (wafer thinning, back-etching or metallization) will be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline and dynamic work environment
