Role: Senior Backend Engineer (GIS / ESRI Technologies)

Location: Singapore

Eligibility: Singaporeans Only

Experience Required: Minimum 8 Years

Salary: Up to SGD 7,500/month (All-inclusive Package)

(Inclusive of annual leave, medical leave, medical insurance, phone allowance, CPF & transport allowance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS and spatial data solutions

• Develop and support geospatial services using ESRI technologies and FME

• Build and consume REST APIs for spatial applications and integrations

• Support spatial data transformation, automation, and analysis workflows

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams on scalable GIS platforms

• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for geospatial systems

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of GIS development and spatial data analysis experience

• Strong expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise Suite:

• ArcGIS Server
• ArcGIS Portal
• ArcGIS Enterprise SDK
• ArcGIS Pro
• • Extensive hands-on experience with:
• FME Desktop
• FME Server
• • Strong knowledge of:
• REST APIs & SOAP services
• Spatial databases (Oracle Spatial / PostGIS)
• Web mapping technologies & OGC standards
• • Experience with:
• Python scripting for GIS automation
• JavaScript development
• GitLab or version control systems
• Agile development methodologies

Technical Skills:

• ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise & ArcGIS API for JavaScript

• FME Desktop & Server workflows

• Python & JavaScript

• Oracle Spatial / PostGIS

• Oracle / MSSQL / MySQL

• REST APIs & SOAP Services

• Spatial Analysis & Data Transformation Tools

Good to Have:

• Experience with Singapore Government GIS projects

• Knowledge of Singapore Government Technology Stack (SGTS)

• Experience with OneMap APIs

• Understanding of government security policies for spatial data

• Exposure to cloud-based GIS solutions

• Experience with spatial big data processing

• ESRI Technical Certifications

• Experience with 3D GIS applications
