Responsibilities

About the Role:

As Business Development Manager for our range of enterprise solutions and services, you will be in a customer-facing role. Your primary responsibility is to generate new business focusing on manufacturing, trading, distribution, and services industry verticals. Our solutions are considered mission-critical applications and typically involve top management decision making. You will need to demonstrate the ability to engage senior level business decision makers in discussions related to operational improvement and business value creation. Amongst the key skills required for you to succeed in this role is the ability to understand complex sales cycle, solution selling and the ability to create rapport with senior level management.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients through research, networking, and outreach.

  • Support sales initiatives to generate new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

  • Understand client needs and present suitable ERP solutions.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.

  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline and CRM system.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and delivery, to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Director.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, ERP consulting, or a related role.

  • Candidates with Functional ERP consulting experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, INFOR, etc.) who wish to leverage their solution knowledge in a client-facing sales role are highly encouraged to apply

  • Exposure to ERP solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or INFOR is an advantage but not required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, results-driven, and eager to learn.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia.
