Job Description

Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to grow revenue and market share across a comprehensive IT services portfolio including but not limited to, Cybersecurity Consulting, Hardware Maintenance, Project Management, Resources on Demand, Secondment & Recruitment Consulting, and Workflow Automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing mid-market to enterprise-level opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle - from initial prospecting through contract execution and account expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets across IT service offerings.

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise and mid-market clients through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and industry events.

  • Conduct in-depth client needs assessments and deliver tailored service solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

  • Prepare and present professional proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and commercial presentations.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, solution demonstrations, negotiation, deal closure, and handover to delivery teams.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with IT executives, business leaders, and decision-makers.

  • Lead, mentor, and support internal sales functions and team members to drive overall performance.

  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, technical, partner, and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment with customer requirements.

  • Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitor activity to refine service positioning and pricing strategies.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for sales leadership.

  • Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling within existing client portfolios.

  • Perform other sales and marketing-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in IT sales, with a strong emphasis on IT services.

  • Hands-on experience selling one or more of the following:

    • Cybersecurity Consulting

    • Hardware Maintenance

    • Project Management Services

    • Resources on Demand

    • Secondment & Recruitment Consulting

    • Workflow Automation Solutions

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing enterprise-level deals.

  • Experience managing or leading sales teams, with strong leadership and coaching capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of IT service delivery models and solution-based selling.

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage complex sales pipelines, and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong resilience and ability to perform under pressure while multitasking.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established network of enterprise or mid-market IT decision-makers.

  • Prior experience working within IT service providers or system integrators.

  • Knowledge of ITIL, cybersecurity frameworks, or project management methodologies.

  • Relevant IT or professional certifications are a strong advantage.
